ABSTRACT
The article offers information on the relation between the U.S. and Angola. The diplomatic relation was formalized in 1993. The four agencies comprising the U.S. Mission in Angola include the Department of State and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). The U.S. government provides economic assistance to Angola's agricultural, health, and financial sector and food security. Both countries strengthened their bilateral engagement focusing on energy and security.
