ABSTRACT
The article discusses the difference between Iraq's and Libya's history of war in the 2000s. It states that the war in Libya was homegrown and a result of Arab Spring movements, while the Iraqi war was backed by the U.S. which invaded the country on the premise that Saddam Hussein was behind the September 11, 2001 attacks. It says that the biggest difference between the two countries lies on the lessons of Iraq.
