ABSTRACT
The author responds to a review essay on his book "Signature in the Cell: DNA and the Evidence for Intelligent Design," by Dennis Venema, published in the December 2010 issue. He acknowledges Venema's comments, including his focus on scientific evidence rather than on the idea of intelligent design. However, the author claims that Venema failed to refute his arguments for intelligent design. The author also offers an explanation on what his book "Signature in the Cell" wants to convey.
