ABSTRACT
The article offers information on the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) program that uses an alternative energy at various schools in the U.S. The Wind for Schools (WfS) program in Idaho and Nebraska uses small wind turbines to show how energy works. The East Side Union High School District partnered with Chevron Energy Solutions Co. in San Jose, California for a solar energy project. A UTC Power 400-kilowatt fuel cell was used at the Hamden High School in Connecticut.
