ABSTRACT
The article discusses the peace plan proposed by U.S. President Barack Obama for the conflict between Israel and Palestine. Though the plan has received support from the entire international community, the Israeli opposition parties and the Palestine governing party, peace remains elusive, according to the author. The article attributes the elusiveness of peace to the international community who believes in a myth that there is no alternative to a bilateral negotiated solution.
