ABSTRACT
The article reports that an Iranian diplomat, identified as Qassem Husseini, was arrested by the new military regime in Egypt on charges of spying. The incident was reported at the time when Egypt is trying to improve its relations with Tehran. Several alleged members of the Iranian-sponsored militant group Hizbullah were prosecuted on charges of espionage in 2010.
