ABSTRACT
The article reports that Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has accepted the initiative by France to conduct a peace conference in Paris, France, while Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu would still wait for the stance of the U.S. on this matter before responding. Abbas explained that the consent needs an Israeli agreement. Unnamed sources close to the Israeli Prime Minister say that he seeks to thwart the initiative.
