The author presents a cycling tour beginning at the Western Harbour, one of Malmö, Sweden's two eco-areas, and informs about the steps taken for environmental protection and sustainability in the city. The city's green district Hyllie which is built with the high environmental demands is growing and citizens are also being taught about sustainability efforts and renewable energy. She notes the increase in shops selling organic and fair-trade goods.
