ABSTRACT
The article criticizes those who are pushing for the legalization of the Communist Party in Spain. The argument that a democratic government should allow the Communist Party to be free and uninhibited in its operation is flawed. The supposedly practical argument that the Communists should be fought in the open demonstrates ignorance and hypocrisy.
