ABSTRACT
The article reports on the role of social media which is considered a revolutionary force concerning the uprisings that overthrew the leaders of Tunisia and Egypt. It notes the analysis of Michele Dunne regarding Tunisian President Ben Ali's overthrow which was inspired by different elements of Egyptian society to join forces against President Hosni Mubarak. Furthermore, the role of Facebook Inc. and other social media sites regarding the issue are also discussed.
