ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the importance to have an effective access to legal information such as statutory codes in the U.S. The author mentions several problems regarding the online access to statute codes, which include the currency of the information, the lack of authenticated codes and technical problems in the operation of the web sites. It notes that the states that offer quality access to government information including Oregon, Wisconsin and Iowa.
