ABSTRACT
The article discusses the growing popularity of online luxury shopping sites in India as of February 2011. It states that when malls like the DLF Emporio opened up in Delhi, others followed suit in other cities, but that such have competition in the form of websites such as Brandmile, 99labels and Desicouture. These are described as membership only sites which offer high end products like Gucci, Tissot and Versace, at discounts of as much as 25% to 80%. Local luxury brands like Ritu Kumar, Shantanu and Nikhil, and Satya Paul, are also offered.
