ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the International Humanitarian Fact-Finding Commission, a means of implementing the law on the methods and means of combat. The Geneva Conventions of 1949 set out principles and rules binding on the parties to armed conflicts with the aim of protecting the victims of such conflicts. The first protocol of 1977 included a new element to support the implementation of international humanitarian law. Also included are the competence of the Commission, members of the Commission, and its potential role.
