ABSTRACT
The article examines methods of addressing unemployment and invigorating the economy within the U.S. Statistics associated with the escalation of the unemployment rate following the recession of 2008 are analyzed, and it is attested that joblessness impedes economic recovery. The author discusses elements that have contributed to the economic crisis, including the failure of the stimulus package proposed by U.S. President Barrack Obama and the national deficit. It is posted that re-industrialization will be required to revitalize the U.S. economy.
