ABSTRACT
The article offers information on the state visit of U.S. Vice-President Joe Biden in Iraq as an approach to discuss the withdrawal of the U.S. troops. It mentions that withdrawal of the U.S. troops will mark the end of the U.S. combat operation in the country despite its inability to defend its border on its own. It says that the state visit also pushed for the inclusion of major alliances to prevent the political logjam such as Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki's Shiite-led State of Law.
