ABSTRACT
The article responds to a preceding thematic article in this issue by Hans Mohr titled "Evolutionary Ethics." The author agrees with most of Mohr's descriptive claims but finds a lack of foundation for certain normative assertions and a failure in Mohr's text to differentiate between morality in the sociological and in the philosophical sense. Also disputed is Mohr's discussion of memes free of metaphysics.
