ABSTRACT
The article focuses on an evaluation of academic libraries' user-education programmes for college students in Pakistan. Library staff demographics, educational objectives of library users, library orientation strategies, staff participation in orientation or user-education programmes, and needs identified by the evaluation are discussed. Topics include conducted and self-guided library tours, group size, lecture-based instruction, and effectiveness of user-education programmes. Brief information is given about related research on library use.
