State sweats out video poker waiting game

The article reports that video-gambling industry in Illinois, Chicago will not be able to produce the expected 300 million in new revenue this year. This will affect the state's five-year, 31-billion dollars plan to create about a half-million jobs building highways, schools and other long-term infrastructure projects. Logistical problem, slow video poker machines and other legal issues are likely to keep the new machines from operating in the state until fiscal 2011.
