ABSTRACT
The article reports that the Fort Meade Cyber Command facility, which is charged with defending the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) networks against cyber attacks has gone into full operation. It is stated that the Maryland facility is also in charge of all U.S. federal cyber-warfare activities, in addition to the protection of DoD networks.
