ABSTRACT
The article presents an overview of the energy market of Canada. It mentions that the country is a major energy consumer and top sources for the U.S. oil imports with oil production of 3.21 million barrels per day (b/d). Canada has 175 billion barrel of proven oil reserves, 150 billion barrel of oil sands reserves, and with generation of electricity 634 terawatt hours (TWh).
