The article reports on the effort of mass media to emphasize the significance of vitamin D in the U.S. It states that vitamin D is grabbing the attention of the media because adults and children in the U.S are reported to have a vitamin D deficiency . It also mentions that sufficient consumption of vitamin D reduces a number of health risks.
