ABSTRACT
The article discusses the book "Obama's Wars," by Bob Woodward, which chronicles the war in Afghanistan and foreign relations with Pakistan and the approach that U.S. president Barack Obama has taken to them. The clash between Obama and the Pentagon over the direction of the Afghan war is discussed as is an exit strategy to remove U.S. armed forces from the region without leaving Afghanistan to face a Taliban revolution or civil war.
