ABSTRACT
The article discusses the development of the solar and renewable energy sector in the Upper Midwest region of the U.S. It features the advancement of the solar project of the Rockford Solar Partners, LLC in Illinois as the largest photovoltaic solar development in the U.S. Details related to the energy developments in the region are also outlined which include the expansion of Cascade Engineering Inc. in Mivhigan and the plans for a transmission line by American Transmission Co. in Wisconsin.
