ABSTRACT
The article offers updates on the Korean War as of October 2, 1950. At the Kimpo airfield, U.S. marines mowed the Communists and landed at Kimpo carrying high brass. Big airlift transports came in adding more to the 4,000 tons of supplies shoved in by the U.S. Navy at the Inchon every day. Seoul was next where the U.S. and South Korean attackers mounted a two-pronged assault. North Korean divisions failed to reach Seoul after the X Corps' Major General Edward Almond redoubled efforts to take the city.
