ABSTRACT
The article looks at the increasing concern of young adults over privacy on social networking sites. People in their 20s tend to exert more control over their digital reputations compared with older adults, based on a Pew Internet Project research. The introduction of privacy controls by Facebook chief executive officer (CEO) Mark Zuckerberg was prompted by criticism from users, privacy advocates and lawmakers. Also mentioned is the move by young people to share privacy tips with each other.
