ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the tension between East and West Germany as citizens of both sides pass the Berlin Wall freely. It relates that the three-day event was allowed by East German Party Boss Erich Honecker as a sign of freer access and as compliance to the Big Four agreement on the city. Meanwhile, it also mentions that the condition of crossing the Wall has improved which is evidenced by the reduced time one has to spend for border formalities.
