ABSTRACT
The article offers information on the arrest of Spanish Communist Party Santiago Carillo and seven party executives. It states that the arrest is related with the legality of the party, and had brought several street demonstrations of the party's supporters demanding for the freedom of Carillo and seven executives. It mentions that Carillo and colleagues had been able to bailed out of the prison and then faced challenges regarding the legality of the Communist Party. It says that the Court of Public Order in Madrid, Spain decided Carillo and his colleagues to be charged with a violation on a law against membership in a political party. However, it adds that the party's lawyers defended that the party cannot be subjected to the international discipline.
