ABSTRACT
The article discusses using social media for corporate training purposes. The rapid growth and widespread popularity of the Facebook social-networking Web site, the Twitter messaging service, and other digital communities have created opportunities for people to readily communicate about common interests. Corporate learning organizations need to harness these Web 2.0 technologies. The author discusses questions that need to be addressed prior to launching an online training community and presents advice on getting one started.
