ABSTRACT
The article offers tips on leveraging online newsroooms, creating awareness and extending the reach of news. Transparency is cited as the most important consideration, along with attaching a news blog and engaging internal stakeholders. Other suggestions include training the staff in the management of online newsrooms and content publishing, providing access to subscription through Really Simple Syndication (RSS) and posting content links.
