ABSTRACT
The article reports that Federal Treasurer, Wayne Swan, handed his third Federal Budget . The Budget reasserted the recent Government announcements responding to the Australia's Future Tax System Review. It notes the changes in taxation, superannuation and social security benefits including lower tax on cash and fixed interest investments, standard deductions for tax returns and constraints on co-contributions that would affect the clients.
