ABSTRACT
The article reports on the plan of Knight Transportation to acquire a fellow truckload carrier that would increase the size of Knight. The targeted carrier generated roughly 450 million U.S. dollars in revenue in 2009. Documents were filed by Knight with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in relation to the planned acquisition. Knight reported a 50.6 million U.S. dollar revenue in 2009.
