ABSTRACT
The article discusses the impact of carbon offset in controlling greenhouse gas emissions implemented worldwide. It mentions that despite skepticism on carbon offsets, it is said to lower the cost of achieveing greenhouse gas emissions reductions as well as delivers investments and resources to various countries. It affirms that it is important for policy makers to reiterate the importance of offsets in order to adopt rules accordingly.
