ABSTRACT
The article argues that the growing interest in the application of mindfulness-based cognitive behavioral therapy is just a start when it comes to understanding the connections between Western psychotherapy and Eastern contemplative practices. The author states that meditation focuses on the importance of being aware of one's body posture, feeling, as well as emotions. He adds that meditation also opens opportunities to clients to develop a deeper acceptance and trust in terms of the wider life process.
