ABSTRACT
The article discusses the amendments to the provisions of the new immigration law in Arizona. The legislators move to amend the newly signed law by Governor Jan Brewer to change the controversial provisions that provide race or ethnicity is not the sole reason for law enforcement to suspect illegal presence. In this regard, the language used in the law that gave rise to accusation of racial profiling is being amended, which still awaits the approval of the Senate.
