ABSTRACT
The article discusses the provision of energy production and storage in the U.S. which became a high priority among business and government to sustain the supply of energy, particularly on electricity. It refers on the need of fast-acting energy to resolve problems on power quality. A policy is designed to reduce fossil fuel and nuclear power use among electric utilities due to environmental concerns and also to promote energy conservation and the use of more renewable energy sources.
