Learning to be Smart

February 2010
Future Times;2010, Vol. 1, p2
The article suggests that an international focus on how to prevent global warming has kept people's attention from what would have been an equally disastrous set of conditions arising from glaciation and the development of a new ice age. It adds that had the world not caused global warming, glaciers could now be gradually encroaching on its doors. Ideas are presented to prevent both conditions, including planting carbon during warm periods and unearthing and burning it during cool periods.
