ABSTRACT
The article talks about Trinity Sunday, one of the important events within the calendar of the Christian year to be celebrated on May 30, 2010. The event is said to observe the Christian understanding of God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. It notes that the different ways in which God is represented in scripture are being used as a source of the doctrine of the trinity. It stresses the significance of such doctrines to the ministers, older people and church members as they give shape and substance to their life together as the people of God.
