ABSTRACT
Taking Vetiveria zizanioides planted in Qingyuan as raw material, the verivert oil distilled by extraction method was analyzed by chromatogram mass spectrum combine apparatus. Among the 94 separated components, 21 different components with aroma structures were identified, which accounted for 53.9% of the major constituent content. (2-Isopopenyl-decahyero-4,7-methano-azulen-8-yl)-methanol and other terpene compounds accounted for 11.4%. Natural existence of two aroma components including isoeugenol and vanilin were discovered from Vetiveria zizanioides for the first time in China, these make a lot of sense to the application and synthesize of spice.
