ABSTRACT
The article reports on the ability of the U.S. to attain foreign and domestic policy success in 2009. It states that the U.S. has the most educated and innovative people and the dollars stays the de facto reserve currency to the world. It says that the talk of the decline of the U.S. is premature in spite of the Congressional dysfunction, but the politics that paralyzes the domestic agenda of President Barack Obama are beginning to undercut his foreign policy assets.
