ABSTRACT
The article reports on the move of by the administration of U.S. President Barack Obama and top Democratic congressional leaders to pass a pro-abortion health care bill. The White House and the congressional leaders want to include abortion-related provisions in the bill which the National Right to Life Committee (NRLC) and other pro-life organizations denounced. According to NRLC Legislative Director Douglas Johnson, the Senate's version of the bill would result in great expansions of abortion while the House version would preserve federal policies.
