ABSTRACT
The article focuses on lawyer Alexander Lee and the Project Laundry List. Lee believes that air-drying laundry and cold-water washing can lead to a decrease in power consumption and control global warming. It adds that Lee conceived the Project Laundry List while in college after he heard a speaker indicate that clotheslines could help close a nuclear plant. Lee funds his organization through small donations and selling clotheslines on the Web.
