ABSTRACT
In this article, the author reflects on his work as a freelance videographer working from the world's most impoverished place. He relates the documentary he saw that moved him to be a storyteller using a camera. He also talks about his financial constraints while making documentaries for Discover the Journey. He says that in international journalism, one should invest in a story by spending time and building relationship with one's subjects.
