ABSTRACT
The article reports that Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has proposed a secret total Jewish settlement freeze of settlements to resume talks with the Israelis. It says that Abbas is expected to discuss with a U.S. peace envoy concerning a proposal that the U.S. government will negotiate on his behalf with the Israelis. It mentions that Abbas asked to resume talks after Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected his proposition.
