ABSTRACT
The article discusses the statement of U.S. Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner concerning the status of dollar currency in the market. Geithner stresses the importance of having a strong currency in the market as well as in the system conveys for responsibilities. However, the condition of U.S. market affects the dollar market in Australia that may cause dislocation, volatility and financial crises.
