ABSTRACT
Presents the author's views on Robert Mabro's critique of his paper "A Proposed Normalisation Procedure for Public Investment Criteria." Description of the normalisation procedure as discussed in the paper; View that the procedure laid down the conditions under which the ranking of alternative investment streams would be identical irrespective of whether present value, terminal value or internal rate of return was used; View that the procedure still hold to be valid within the framework of assumptions made explicit in that paper.
