The article focuses on the growing demand of sun care, antiaging and natural cosmetic products in Japan. As per consulting firm Euromonitor International Inc., though cosmetics and toiletries reported slight decrease in 2008 but Irina Barbalova, research manager at Euromonitor said that antiaging skin care, oral hygiene and sun care products saw growth. Karen Doskow, associate project manager at Kline & Co. says that drug retailers are opening stores specialized in cosmetics products.
