ABSTRACT
The article reports on the reduction of budget on Vera House Inc.'s services for 2009. It notes that the cuts have come from the state and county level which result to service reduction for its domestic violence, youth counseling, and outreach services. It adds that the worst cut is the loss of a 50,000 dollars New York State grant affecting the Alternatives program that educates men who have abused a female partner.
