ABSTRACT
The article discusses employment losses in New Jersey, U.S. It states that although private-sector jobs were added in August 2009, there was a big reduction in the previously reported gain of jobs in July 2009. It also explains that the state's unemployment rate has risen significantly from December 2008 to August 2009. A table showing the state's nonfarm payroll employment from December 2008 to August 2009 is also included.
