ABSTRACT
The article presents the author's comments on privacy concerns regarding online advertising. The author states that there is a persistent set of issues that the online marketing industry has yet to fully address. According to him, the industry has been very bad at explaining the technology, and at understanding the human concerns it creates. He also says that as people are concerned about their privacy online, they are sharing all sorts of personal information on social networks.
