ABSTRACT
In this article, the author discusses the issues related to the human rights approach on labor rights in the U.S. He reports the increase in focus on labor issues after the publication of the report "Unfair Advantage: Workers' Freedom of Association in the United States Under International Human Rights Standards," by the Human Rights Watch, and mentions views of report's author Lance Compa on the benefits of human rights reframing of labor struggles. He states that the approach will lead to individualization of labor rights, ending the union movements for labor justice, and mentions the negative effects of human rights discourse on the labors' unity.
